Brand-new heavy-duty torque converter kit --TAV 40 Series. It will fit our 9hp drift trikes and go karts. 
Designed for go-karts, dune buggies, minibikes, and other small off-road vehicles running 8 HP – 18 HP engines.

? Installation Guide

1. Mount the driver clutch onto the engine output shaft (ensure the key fits).

2. Install the driven pulley on the jackshaft.

3. Fit and align the V-belt between the pulleys.

4. Check alignment and belt tension.

5. Secure all bolts and test the converter at idle before full-speed operation.

Note: Belt should not move at idle. Adjust idle speed if necessary.

? Maintenance

• Keep the converter clean and dry.

• Do NOT oil or grease the pulleys or belt.

• Regularly check belt wear and replace if slipping.

• Ensure proper alignment for smooth engagement.

⚠️ Important Safety Notes

• Do NOT run the engine without the belt installed.

• Avoid contact with hot converter components after use.

• Always disconnect the spark plug before servicing.
